Hello my name is Michelle. I am a mother of 2, a boy who is 4 and a girl who is 3. I currently work full time outside the home and I am taking a leap and starting a business from home so that with in a year I am able to become a work at home mom. I have been working outside the house since my son was 6 weeks old and every day I leave my two angles my heart breaks.

Networking to build your business.

Building your business actually takes time and dedication.  No matter what some say it is not just put up a few post on the net and boom your business is off.  You need to be dedicated if this is how you want to grow your business.

I find myself looking for forums for networking.  I look for forums that relate to my interest and my life.  There are a thousand out there and joining them takes time.  Be patient.  I find myself looking at forums that relate to moms.  Almost anything with moms.  I also look for forums that are mentor related.  I could always use new ways and learn more on how to grow my business. 

I also look at social networking sites for example, facebook, twitter, myspace, linkedin and others. These are great sites to connect with others who are in the same situation your are in, who have been in your situation and those who are looking for the chance to get in to your situation. 

Free ad sites is another area that you can work with.  Just one bit of advise make sure you keep a spread sheet of where and when you posted.  Some allow you to post daily, some weekly, some monthly and some don't expire.  Keep this handy because you do not want to miss any opportunities to get you name out there.
